Ken Matsuzaki Kinshino tea bowl

The Kinshino tea bowl is a masterpiece by Ken Matsuzaki, a potter from Mashiko Town. A supreme work with a golden body and lustrous luster glaze that shines in seven colors. Although it has an extremely strong presence as a golden tea cup that shines in seven colors, its smooth texture and Shino-like yuzu skin are definitely Shino. There is much to see in the details, such as the ink color of the hill and its surrounding area due to carbonization, and the silvery surface, and the color changes depending on the angle of light, so it is a work that can be enjoyed by touching and looking at it. A mix of innovation and tradition, it is truly a masterpiece.
