Its naturally opening form is balanced by a powerful transition from the lower body to the foot, where distinctive kairagi develops around the base.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of the most striking features of this piece is the black repair line running across the body. The naturally occurring crack, together with the lines created through its repair, forms a landscape reminiscent of lotus petals opening in bloom.
