Yucho Kobayashi Shigaraki kiln tea bowl

Shigaraki tea bowl by Yucho Kobayashi, a Shigaraki potter. It is a work full of beautiful kiln changes that will make you fall in love with it in an instant. On the front, the ash glaze overlaps with the soft gray kiln.
To the side, a Shigaraki-like scarlet color gently rises. As you slowly turn the tea cup, the white and green kiln changes shape in response to the movement of the hog, creating a finish that allows you to enjoy the finest scenery no matter which angle you face it. There are gaps in three places on the side of the hill, creating a beautiful scenery along with the kiln that flowed from the body, and the ash glaze creates a pale skein even in the wide area, giving it a quiet depth. This is a wonderful bowl that condenses Shigaraki's simple charm and artistry, and is praised by the author himself as being the best of the year.
