Across the front of the bowl, vivid hi-iro red spreads dramatically, while at its center a softly emerging nuke area opens up like a glimpse into outer space.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe entire chawan is animated by the interplay of hi-iro, nuke, and ash-glaze kiln transformations, creating a richly varied surface while retaining the rustic strength characteristic of unglazed, high-fired Bizen ware. Inside the bowl, subtle flows of ash glaze add further depth, while a distinct nuke effect appears beside the foot, forming a refined and composed landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGoseki’s characteristically soft, rounded form sits comfortably in the hands, and the excellent handling of the bowl is another of its great attractions.
